We are currently recruiting for a full-time Web UI/AJAX software engineer.  This position will join a small and dynamic team of developers in a biotech/pharma environment.  The initial application to be developed is a portal site to display scientific data, which extensively incorporates Web 2.0 and AJAX technologies.  In addition, this position will interface with many scientists across the institute on data management and visualization projects.

Requirements:
•2+ years experience with AJAX-powered web UI development
•Solid skills in OO Javascript programming
•Strong experience with DHTML, XML, CSS and other web technologies
•Expert at cross-browser compatibility issue
•Excellent communication and team-work skills

Plus:
•Experience with UI frameworks (EXT, Prototype/Scriptaculous, JQuery, etc.)
•Python/Django framework
•Flex/AS3
•Web design/graphics
•Experience in biotech/pharma industry
